Kitchen Renovations in Grimsby and Area

The kitchen is where most families spend their day, so when it stops working, you feel it every morning. Pine Shore Construction plans and builds kitchen renovations for homeowners in Grimsby and the surrounding area, from refreshing a tired layout to opening up walls for a full remodel. We bring more than 17 years of residential construction experience, and WSIB coverage and insurance are in place on every job.

What a kitchen renovation can include

- New layouts, including moving or removing walls

- Custom cabinetry, islands and pantry storage

- Counters, backsplashes and finishing carpentry

- Lighting, plumbing and electrical changes, done with licensed trades where required

- Drywall, trim and painting to tie the new kitchen into the rest of the house

How a kitchen renovation works

1. Tell us about it. Send photos of the kitchen as it is, any drawings or ideas, and how you'd like to use the space. We'll ask questions and set up a time to talk.

2. Plan and quote. If it's a good fit, we visit, measure and prepare a quote. If walls are coming out or the work needs a permit, we can prepare or arrange the drawings.

3. Build. We take the old kitchen out, handle the framing and rough-ins, then install cabinets, counters and finishes.

4. Finish. We complete the trim, paint and details so the kitchen looks like it was always meant to be there.

Questions we hear

Do I need a permit for a kitchen renovation? Not always. Replacing cabinets and counters usually doesn't, but removing a structural wall or changing plumbing often does. We'll tell you what applies before we start.

Can you work with my designer or kitchen supplier? Yes. Send us their drawings and we'll review them from a construction point of view.
